My post to the Facebook group on 5/30/13

OK, week 2, #2 is done! I made the mistake of taking my dog with. I'll never do THAT again! On a positive note, I believe I burned more calories than I have consumed all week, and Samson is now worn out. That makes two of us. (For those of you who have never met Samson, he is a 150lb great dane, rottweiler mix with longer legs than mine and the drive and stamina of an angry bull. El Toro!)

 Samson is the large black dog in the photo above. The other dog, Skippy Joe, is a 67 lb. golden retriever and brittany spaniel mix. Skippy can actually walk under Samson and has on many occasions.

And here's what Samson looks like from the front. He's pretty intimidating to strangers, but to me, he's a big baby. I love him to pieces but will never, ever, ever run with him again. The end.
