My post in the Facebook group on 6/24/13

Week 6, set 1 was not as awesome as previous sets. I made the decision beforehand that I wanted to lengthen my stride a bit and run a little faster to push myself and to save my calves a bit. I've been jogging really slowly with my feet almost directly underneath me. After researching proper running technique, apparently my stride is too short. So, Nadia and I ran faster than I've ever been able to run before for 5 minutes straight. It wasn't horrible, but I couldn't keep up that pace for the other two runs. The heat was really starting to get to me and I wasn't able to continue running at all. I'm praying hard for an overcast day on 7/20 with a gentle mist or sprinkle to cool us off!
