My post to the Facebook group on 5/25/13

Week 1 complete! Nadia and I just finished the 3rd set. Our plan is to rest tomorrow and start week 2 on Monday. I've noticed that about halfway through the set my calves lock up. Is that normal? During one of the walk periods I did some lunges to try to stretch them out. Is that OK or not a good idea?

(NOTE: Several of the runners in the group responded with tips and tricks on how to alleviate calf muscle issues. Turns out the biggest problem was my shoes!)
